A Night Out, benefiting Dress for Success® Houston, is slated for Thursday, Nov. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Westin Oaks Hotel.

This ever-popular annual event features dinner, a fashion show, boutique shopping, surprise bags and a raffle, all to raise funds to purchase business attire for economically disadvantaged women. An expected 400 attendees from Houston-area companies, including top-level female executives, will be entertained by local image consultant Cathy Fitzpatrick Cleary. As in previous years, Clery will give a fun-filled presentation on fashion tips and trends. Jan Carson will emcee the event.

Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP serves as the event’s platinum sponsor for the fifth consecutive year. Chaired by Liz Howard, a banking partner in Gardere’s Houston office, the firm aims to surpass the $70,000 raised last year.

Individual tickets are available for $100. Additional sponsorship opportunities range from $1,250 to $5,000. Raffle tickets – $40 each or three for $100 – offer guests a chance at an amazing array of luxurious getaways, sports packages and culinary treats. Guests do not need to be present to win. Attendees also can purchase surprise bags filled with goodies in support of the organization.
