LIterary Advance hosting Scrabble® event

Literacy Advance of Houston is hosting its inaugural Scrabble® and the City fundraiser on Thursday, July 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Plaza Club downtown.

All proceeds from the event will help Literacy Advance of Houston bring awareness and resources to the literacy issues facing the Houston community.

The emcee for the evening will be Sunny 99.1's Dana Tyson.

The winner of the Scrabble® tournament will receive a custom-designed trophy provided for by Office Effects and E2 Specialty.

Food and drink will be provided.
